I'm recruiting on behalf of an established engineering business in Tewkesbury who are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer on a 12 month contract (Outside IR35)

The work involves development of low-level C code and C++ on Embedded Linux in the cyber, IoT and telecommunications space.

ROLE: Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION: Tewkesbury (2-3 days on-site required)

RATE: Up to 450pd

IR35: Outside

DURATION: 12 months

Required skills for the Senior Embedded Software Engineer are:

C and C++
Embedded Linux development (Yocto / Buildroot or kernel development beneficial)
Comms protocols UART, CAN, SPI / I2C
IoT or narrow-band RF exposure (WiFi, GSM, Bluetooth, Ethernet)

Knowledge of security protocols for encryption / cyber in embedded development is beneficial
