HR and Talent Operations Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced HR and Talent Operations Project Manager for a contract assignment through the end of the year. Remote talent will be considered, but there is a strong preference for candidates local to Plymouth, MN who can work a hybrid schedule.

SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced HR Manager-level contractor to serve as an HR and Talent Operations Project Manager focused on accelerating recruitment efforts across key operational functions, including Supply Chain, Sourcing, SIOP, Materials Planning & Logistics, and Quality. This role is critical in managing the high volume of open positions and ensuring alignment between hiring needs and talent acquisition processes.
The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner and process quarterback, collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team, and driving progress through organized tracking, communication, and candidate evaluation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a liaison between HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to ensure a seamless and responsive recruitment experience.
Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and candidate profiles.
Manage and monitor the recruitment process in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and timelines.
Provide weekly status updates to hiring managers, functional leaders, and HR leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and roles requiring escalation.
Participate in candidate screening and interviews, leveraging functional knowledge to assess qualifications and fit.
Maintain organized documentation and tracking tools to ensure visibility and accountability across all open roles.
Identify and raise concerns about roles at risk of delay or misalignment and proactively recommend solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven HR experience at the Manager level, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of operations, supply chain, sourcing, and quality functions.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously with attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within structured Talent Acquisition processes and systems.
Ability to assess candidate capabilities and contribute meaningfully to selection decisions.

EDUCATION

Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Pay Rate- $52.82- $63.38/hour
