Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Maple Grove, MN (Fully Onsite)

Compensation: $25.00 – $31.25 / Hourly dependent on applicable experience

Addison Group has partnered with a growing client in Maple Grove, MN to bring on an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this fully onsite role, you’ll take ownership of the full-cycle AP process — from matching, coding, and posting invoices to ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle accounts payable, including matching, coding, and posting invoices
Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and proper approvals
Prepare and process vendor payments (checks, ACH, wires) in accordance with company policies
Reconcile AP transactions and resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with month-end close duties, including accruals and reconciliations
Maintain organized and accurate AP records in compliance with internal controls

Qualifications:

3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
Strong understanding of invoice matching, coding, and posting
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
