Job Title: Staff / Senior Accountant
Location: Willingboro, NJ
Pay: $28 – $33/hour (equivalent to $60k – $70k annually)
Employment Type: 3-Month Temporary (with potential to convert to Contract-to-Hire)

Job Description:
The Staff / Senior Accountant will support the finance team with month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance tasks. This role is fully onsite and will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and providing insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with month-end and year-end close.
- Analyze balance sheets and research discrepancies, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reporting.
- Support external audit and tax processes with accurate documentation and schedules.
- Manage daily cash activity and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Oversee company credit card expense tracking and ensure consistent budget coding.
- Partner with operations teams (sales, purchasing, manufacturing) to gather and review financial data.
- Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency within accounting operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Familiarity with AIA billing and payroll is a plus.
- Experience with expense reporting tools (Concur) and Adobe.
- Advanced Excel skills
