Title: Engineer - Test Technician

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 5 Months

100% Onsite

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedAssembler to join our manufacturing team. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the production and testing of high-quality medical device instruments. This includes the precise assembly and testing of various electronic components and completed devices in a controlled, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment.
Conduct mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices as needed.
Read and follow detailed written procedures and verbal instructions; assist others in understanding related documentation.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and complex test procedures accurately.
Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to optimize processes and meet quality and productivity goals.
Maintain accurate and complete Device History Records (DHRs) and quality documentation for traceability.
Prioritize tasks based on sequencing and urgency to ensure timely completion.
Represent the company positively during site visits or audits, demonstrating techniques and sharing product knowledge as appropriate.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including FDA regulations, ISO standards, and internal QMS and EMS systems.
Follow environmental, health, and safety protocols, SOPs, and department-specific requirements.
Maintain effective communication and teamwork across all departments and levels of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, electronic manufacturing, or technical certification training preferred.
Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies.
Working knowledge of IPC standards and use of complex assembly/testing tools.
Experience in GMP, ISO, and FDA-regulated environments strongly preferred.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
Willingness to work overtime when required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
Able to lift and handle up to 25 lbs. as needed.
Frequent movement including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
