Job Title: IAM Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Must reside within 60 miles of one of the following offices:

Draper, UT
Columbus, OH
Plano, TX
Chadds Ford, PA
Wilmington, DE
New York City, NY

Pay Range: ~$60/hour (W2 only)
Contract Details

Duration: 12 months (potential to extend)
Start Date: As soon as onboarding is complete
Background Check: Required
Onsite Requirement: Hybrid, must live within 60 miles of a listed location
On-Call: May be required after regular business hours

Introduction
We are seeking an IAM Engineer for a 12-month contract (with potential extension) to support enterprise identity and access management initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong Okta engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and deliver secure, scalable authentication solutions. This role will focus on SSO integrations, brand conversions/deconversions, and audit documentation, while working directly with team members and leadership to ensure secure and efficient access for all users.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
3+ years of Okta engineering experience, including OIE, SSO integrations, workflows, and multi-tenant (B2E, B2B, B2C) configurations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven troubleshooting abilities
Relevant certifications preferred (Security+, Network+, CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, Okta Professional/Consultant/Administrator)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Okta certifications
Broader IAM engineering experience (SailPoint, PAM tools, etc.)
Familiarity with audit documentation, runbooks, and roadmap creation
Experience with process improvement in security operations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Okta environments and SSO integrations
Support projects related to brand conversions, deconversions, and application onboarding/offboarding
Develop and maintain security documentation, including runbooks, process documents, and architecture diagrams
Partner with peers and leadership to identify and implement process improvements
Collaborate with other InfoSec disciplines, infrastructure, and operations teams to protect information assets
Analyze data using Excel Pivot Tables, database queries, and reporting tools
Prepare and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Stay current with industry developments and share knowledge with the team
Provide after-hours on-call support as required
