Overview:
We are supporting a global leader in analytical instruments and laboratory technologies as they look to bring on a Systems Engineer to join their team on a 9-month contract. This opportunity will focus on the design, integration, and performance testing of complex analytical systems with a particular focus on liquid chromatography (LC) technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and testing of next-generation analytical systems with an emphasis on liquid chromatography platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and applications teams to ensure systems meet performance and quality standards.
- Execute verification and validation activities, including writing protocols and analyzing data for system performance.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues related to hardware and fluidics integration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in product design, system reliability, and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working with liquid chromatography instrumentation, either in a systems engineering, applications, or R&D capacity.
- Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation systems, including mechanical, fluidics, and software components.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working within the life sciences, biotech, or instrumentation industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards applicable to analytical devices.
