Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity available with a global financial services organisation. They are currently looking for a skilled UX/UI Lead to join their team and help shape the next generation of digital banking products.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centred, and visually appealing digital product designs that align with user needs, business goals, and accessibility standards.

Conduct user research and usability testing to capture customer needs, pain points, and feedback.
Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital banking applications.
Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise and test product concepts.
Apply visual design principles, ensuring consistency with brand identity and accessibility guidelines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, developers, and stakeholders.
Stay updated with design best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Proven experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
Strong background in user research, prototyping, and interaction design.
Expertise in visual design, including typography, colour theory, and responsive design.
Experience conducting usability testing and applying insights to design improvements.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

Degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience working in highly regulated industries, ideally financial services.
Familiarity with Agile environments and collaboration tools.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, front-end development concepts, and ethical design practices.
