The pay range is $128,000.00 - $231,000.00

Join Target's UX team to design and lead the Deals experience across mobile web, Android, and iOS. Guided by our vision of a trusted and habit-forming deals experience that's seamless, clear, and rewarding - empowering guests to save and discover with confidence, you'll shape journeys that help millions of guests shop smarter and feel great doing it.
In this role, you'll bring Target's Tarzhay magic to life by crafting personalized, trusted, and effortless interactions that make savings not only easy but also joyful and confidence-building. You'll design experiences that feel habit-forming in the best way - where guests return often because finding and using deals is simple, rewarding, and seamless.
You'll lead end-to-end design across high-impact surfaces like the Homepage, PLP, PDP, Cart, Circle Deals, Weekly Ads, and the Unified Deals Hub. Working with cross-functional partners, you'll simplify complex promotional systems into clear, transparent savings journeys that drive loyalty and empower guests to shop with confidence. We're looking for a systems thinker with deep mobile expertise, strong product instincts, and a passion for user-centered design that delivers measurable impact. Responsibilities:
- Develop and contribute to UX strategy and vision for product experiences across digital platforms - influencing investment, collaborations, and the balance of new vs. Iteration
- Use your influence to identify and pursue user-centric outcomes within and across products
- Effectively facilitate multiple cross functional working teams and collaborate across multiple design and product teams
- Create design deliverables representative of the design process phase - such as journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design and prototypes
- Guide design process and mentor junior designers
- Investigate using both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Hold design work to a high standard of craft, including accessibility, user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design
- Advance a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
- Build a network of relationships to enable your vision in service of our guest experience and Target as a whole
About you:
- 7+ years experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful product design work
- You thrive at the intersection of design strategy, scaled solutions, and craft
- Expert skills in UX and product design, as well as structuring and planning work, and owning the design process
- Advanced proficiency in product design and prototyping tools (i.e., in Figma)
- Advanced strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach
- You balance the need for near-term solutions and long-term vision
- You are an expert in communicating how design connects to, serves, and improves business outcomes
- Exhibit a growth mindset
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
