Our Client is one of the world's longest standing general insurers, providing peace of mind to individuals and families, and protecting small businesses and large corporations from uncertainty for more than 305 years. They provide award-winning personal, commercial and specialty insurance products and services direct-to-customers, via brokers and affinity partners.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Project Manager in Data Delivery for an initial 3 Month contract based in London (2 days per week in office).

The Role & Responsibilities:

Project Manager (Data Delivery) to spearhead the data workstream within a key strategic programme. This role is responsible for overseeing delivery from a governance, reporting, and coordination perspective - ensuring that high-quality data assets are delivered to business stakeholders. You will work closely with permanent staff, vendor partners, and department heads across multiple squads to drive outcomes that support pricing, claims, and risk management.

Lead the data delivery workstream within a large-scale strategy programme.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (permanent staff and vendors) to ensure delivery across multiple squads.
Oversee governance, reporting, and RAID management for all data initiatives.
Scope, plan, and manage budgets, milestones, and dependencies through to UAT.
Deliver data assets to business communities, with a strong focus on pricing teams.
Enable integration of datasets (policies, claims, risks, industry codes) to support advanced analytics and ML model development.
Work with Legacy and strategic data source systems to create digestible, high-value data solutions.
Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and data value stream principles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data delivery supports business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience:

Proven track record of leading data delivery initiatives within financial services or insurance.
Strong experience in data platforms, data value chain, and enterprise data delivery.
Background in project management, with hands-on experience in agile (Scrum) and data value streams.
Solid understanding of RAID management, budgeting, milestone planning, and governance reporting.
Familiarity with delivering data assets for pricing, claims, and risk use cases.
Experience working with Azure and modern cloud-based data platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
