Trainee Fire and Security Engineer
Location: SHEFFIELD
Salary: £26,416 starting whilst learning; £30,000 after 6 months plus bonuses; rising to £36,000 after 12 months plus bonuses (guaranteed!)

They are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual to join their team as a Trainee Fire & Security Engineer.

Key requirements

Successful applicant must hold a UK driver's license
Background with hands-on experience; e.g., an NVQ in Electrical at college, or bricklaying
Attention to detail, and strong communication skills

The Role - Trainee Fire & Security Engineer

You'll be trained to carry out service, maintenance, and repair of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems across commercial and residential sites. Typical duties will include:

Learning how to fault-find and repair fire & security systems
Assisting with routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Supporting senior engineers on installation and commissioning projects
Ensuring systems are compliant with current fire safety regulations
Developing technical and customer service skills to become a fully qualified engineer
