We are seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead (Commercialisation Lead) to join our growing AI function. This role will act as the bridge between cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities and real-world business applications, driving the identification, development, and delivery of AI-powered efficiency and innovation opportunities across the enterprise.
The position sits within one of the bank’s flagship AI programmes, playing a pivotal role in scaling AI adoption across Onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) journeys and beyond. You will lead a team of AI Commercialisation specialists, working closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to uncover use cases, pilot solutions, and scale impactful AI initiatives.
A core responsibility will be to translate business challenges into practical AI/ML solutions, form partnerships with third-party providers, and ensure robust governance and scalability as new tools are integrated into the bank’s Future State Architecture (FSA) and Digital Acceleration Programme.
Main Responsibilities:
Business Integration
•
Collaborate with business units to identify and shape AI/ML-enabled opportunities that enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

Support the design and implementation of AI-driven process improvements in key business areas.
Technology Translation
•
Work with stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into viable AI/ML use cases.
•
Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
Solution Development & Testing
•
Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product owners to develop, test, and validate AI/ML models and applications.
•
Evaluate processes and data to uncover areas where AI can deliver measurable improvements.
Governance & Risk Management
•
Guide the prioritisation and submission of AI solutions through internal governance frameworks.
•
Ensure all initiatives adhere to ethical, regulatory, and operational risk standards.
Scalable Delivery
•
Drive safe, sustainable, and scalable deployment of AI/ML capabilities into production.
•
Embed control frameworks and ensure long-term resilience of deployed solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
•
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, operations, and business lines.
•
Report on the progress, impact, and adoption of AI initiatives.
Thought Leadership
•
Stay ahead of AI/ML trends, regulatory developments, and best practices within financial services.
•
Share insights and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Key Requirements:
•
5–7 years’ experience in AI/ML solution delivery or product development, ideally in financial services or regulated industries.
•
Proven experience leading transformation or innovation projects within consulting, banking, or technology environments.
•
Strong understanding of financial services processes and operational challenges.
•
Solid technical understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem (foundation models, generative AI, NLP, MLOps, data governance, responsible AI principles).
•
Experience navigating governance, risk, and compliance processes in a banking context.
•
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
•
Adaptable, pragmatic, and delivery-focused mindset.
