Job Description:
Addison Group is actively seeking a Department Clerk to assist our client during their peak season. This position will support the team by performing routine clerical and data entry tasks with a focus on mailing list management. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity ideal for someone with a strong administrative background and proven Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and clean mailing list files using provided software and Excel
- Convert PDFs into Excel format and organize data for mail processing
- Perform manual data entry for files not suitable for digital conversion
- Remove duplicates, outdated information, and previous responses from contact lists
- Upload and submit data into proprietary mailing systems
- Assist in identifying and removing sensitive or unwanted personal information
- Coordinate with team members to ensure mailing list accuracy and formatting standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong Excel skills, including data formatting and cleanup
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
- Experience with general office equipment and software applications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and document review
