Senior Business Analyst (Business & Process Transformation)
Remote in UK
£450-500pd Inside IR35

The Senior Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic transformation across Corporate & Investment Banking. This role bridges strategy, operations, and technology to deliver high-impact business enhancements and ensure alignment with financial, regulatory, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end business analysis for strategic initiatives, collaborating with senior stakeholders (up to CFO level) to define and validate business requirements.
Evaluate and prioritise requirements based on business value, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and financial objectives.
Design and refine Target Operating Models (TOMs) and process flows to support scalable and efficient business functions.
Identify automation and process improvement opportunities, working closely with functional and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, requirements traceability, current vs target state analyses, and user stories.
Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions meet both strategic and operational needs.
Support programme governance, delivery tracking, risk mitigation, and change management activities.
Facilitate workshops and provide clear, structured updates to senior executives throughout the project life cycle.
Assist in testing, implementation, and adoption of new solutions, ensuring measurable outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within Corporate & Investment Banking.
Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including CFOs and Managing Directors.
Strong understanding of CIB products and functions, including Finance, Risk, Operations, and Technology.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Target Operating Models and strategic change initiatives.
Solid knowledge of financial services IT systems and architecture.
Familiarity with IFRS, regulatory reporting, and financial control frameworks.
Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
