Job Title: Finance Analyst - VAT

Join our dynamic eCommerce team as a Finance Analyst specialising in VAT. Based in our Hackney office, just a 9-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street train station, this contract role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Rate: 320 - 365 per day PAYE
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, with a focus on VAT.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements, particularly within the eCommerce sector.
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytic skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of initiative.
- Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- analyse and manage VAT-related transactions and compliance within the organisation.
- Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines concerning VAT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve VAT queries and issues.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the finance team in audits and provide necessary documentation for VAT inquiries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of VAT policies and procedures.
