SOC Manager

At Huxley, we are looking for a SOC Manager to collaborate in a 6 months project with one of our top clients, based in Madrid.

The objective of this role is to support and execute the strategy of the Global Cybersecurity Center, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact security services. This would be a freelance opportunity through a services contract with Huxley.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SOC environments, focusing on incident detection, response, and resolution.
Solid knowledge of frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, MaGMa, or TaHiTI.
Experience in Cloud Security, Network Security, Infrastructure Security, or ICT/OT Security.
Familiarity with security operations and tools: SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, EDR, and automation processes.
Strong communication and reporting skills, able to translate technical data for both IT and non-IT audiences.
Experience with tools such as Google scripting, ServiceNow, JIRA, Splunk, QRadar, Kali Linux, NMAP, Burp Suite, and Digital Forensics.
Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GIAC, CREST, or CISA are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the strategy and lead execution ofCybersecurityCenter services, including:
SIEM / Managed Detection & Response
Threat Hunting
Incident Response & Crisis Management
Cyber Threat Intelligence
Endpoint Protection / EDR
Red Teaming

Contract Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Madrid (client site)
Contract Type: Freelance via Huxley
Rate: Based on experience
