About the role

First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role - especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews - but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We're looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and optimise scalable Salesforce solutions that power our growth. You'll work across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, acting as a trusted advisor while ensuring performance, scalability, and best practices.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys mentoring others, and is comfortable leading medium-sized projects from concept to delivery. You'll play a key part in shaping how Salesforce is used across Mews, driving both technical excellence and business impact.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it

Design, implement, and optimise Salesforce solutions for medium-to-high complexity projects
Analyse data flows across integrated systems and ensure changes are properly assessed and coordinated
Build and maintain Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and batch processes with scalability in mind
Lead integrations with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs
Optimise and refactor existing code for performance and maintainability
Contribute to DevOps, version control, and release management-setting best practices for the team
Manage small to medium-sized projects end-to-end, from requirements through delivery
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members to raise the bar across the team

You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you

Proven Salesforce development experience, ideally with Platform Developer II certification
Strong skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integration approaches
Solid understanding of Salesforce's data model and its connections to integrated systems
Familiarity with DevOps, version control, and release management practices
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator with the ability to partner with both technical and business stakeholders
Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring others
Confidence to deliver small-scale projects independently, balancing priorities and deadlines
