C# .NET Software Developer – 12 Month Contract – Switzerland – Home Office

Remote / Switzerland

We are currently supporting a leading organisation in the MedTech industry with a new contract opportunity. This client has offices in Zurich but can offer 3-4 working from home days per week. This role is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

General conditions:

Start Date: Mid November
End Date: December 31^st 2026
Extension: Possible extension for a further 12 months
Hourly Rate: To be discussed (depends on experience)
Location: Remote (with the option to visit a Zurich team if preferred)
Home Office: 3-4 days home office per week is OK

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience with C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, etc.).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
