D365 F&O Functional Consultant Inside IR35 Hybrid

We re seeking an experienced D365 F&O Functional Consultant for a Hybrid contract. you'll work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver functional solutions that optimise core Finance & Operations processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with business users to gather, analyse and document functional requirements for D365 F&O Finance, Procurement, and related modules.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and configuration for D365 F&O.
Configure D365 F&O modules, support customisation requirements, and guide development teams on functional design.
Support integrations with external systems, including use of Dual Write, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
Conduct business process mapping, gap analysis, and recommend improvements aligned with best practices.
Assist in test planning, UAT, data migration, and cut-over activities to ensure smooth implementations.
Partner with Solution Architects, Developers, and stakeholders to validate solutions and ensure compliance with project objectives.
Provide knowledge transfer, user training, and post-go-live functional support.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

5+ years experience as a D365 F&O Functional Consultant (Finance & Operations modules).
Strong understanding of core Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain processes and their configuration in D365 F&O.
Hands-on experience across multiple full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
Solid grasp of requirements gathering, business process analysis, gap-fit assessment, and solution design.
Familiarity with D365 F&O integrations (Dual Write, Dataverse, Power Platform) and working alongside technical development teams.
Experience in Agile delivery and in producing key project artefacts such as process maps, test scripts, training materials.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Contract Details:

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Rate: Up to £550/day
Engagement: Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid (Windsor)
Start Date: ASAP
