Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Company in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a positive atmosphere, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, and report findings according to established protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as needed. Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and follow all site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
