Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires you to carry a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry. Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the government location.

Minimum Requirements: CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
