Job #: Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Infrastructure / Cloud Solutions Architect with our large federal client here in Norfolk, VA Project Details / Mission Supported: The position and team is supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command. They are responsible for engineering, procurement, and maintenance of the Navy's ships, submarines, and combat systems. NAVSEA ensures that the fleet is combat-ready and capable of supporting national defense objectives. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• AWS certification, Windows, or RHEL certification
• Experience with hosting naval maintenance systems or similar complex DoD programs
• SAFe Agilist, Architect, or similar SAFe certification
• Experience in designing architectures that span multiple operating systems and technology platforms
• Knowledge of relevant DoD and Navy standards for enterprise architecture and system interoperability
• Familiarity with DoD architectural frameworks such as DoDAF
• Experience with Some form of Systems / Infrastructure / IaC / Cloud or Similar Architecture
• Extensive Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and practices, particularly in managing complex, global IT systems
