Pertemps is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Transport Administrator for our public sector client.

Location: Edinburgh (Waverley Court) • Duration: 3 months ongoing • Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week • Pay Rate: £15.53 per hour • Start Date: Early/Mid August

Are you a highly organised, tech-savvy professional who enjoys using data and digital systems to deliver real results? We're looking for a Senior Transport Administrator to play a key role in supporting our Network Management & Enforcement team, Engineers, and Project Managers in delivering vital transport projects across the city. This role goes beyond basic administration - you'll be using multiple software systems, managing complex project data, producing reports and presentations, and helping to keep our city moving efficiently.

What you'll do

Provide high-level administrative and technical support to Transport teams and Project Managers.
Use a range of digital tools - including Outlook, MS Teams, Excel and bespoke internal software - to manage, track, and report on projects.
Collect, analyse and present data to support informed decision-making.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and the public to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Maintain meticulous records in line with legislation, policies, and governance standards.
Prioritise and manage a busy workload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.

What you'll bring

Strong IT and data-handling skills, with experience in Excel, MS Teams, and digital project systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing demands.
Confident communication and presentation skills.
A flexible, conscientious approach and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.

Full training will be provided on all internal systems and processes.
