(Islandwide Locations) Reports To: Technical Services Manager / Assigned Supervisor Job Summary: The Servi Tech Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance of appliances, electronics, and furniture sold by Courts Jamaica Ltd. The technician ensures timely and high-quality service delivery while maintaining professional conduct and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: Respond to service calls within 24 hours and provide diagnosis and parts requisition within 48 hours . Complete repairs not requiring parts within 48 hours ; repairs requiring parts must be completed within 48 hours of part receipt . Submit accurate part requisitions with serial numbers and photos as required. Perform repairs at customer premises when necessary, especially for non-transportable items. Ensure safe and clean transportation of products and parts. Return repaired items in good working condition, clean, and with all accessories. Obtain customer signatures and submit pre/post-repair photos. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous behavior at all times. Display company-issued ID and comply with Unicomer’s Code of Ethics. Attend mandatory training sessions and maintain flexible availability, especially during peak seasons. Provide a 3-month warranty on all repairs, excluding user-related faults. Performance Expectations: Timely updates and communication with the Service Department. Accurate documentation and adherence to spare part requisition procedures. Compliance with safety regulations and technical standards. Accountability for workmanship, including third-party claims and warranty denials due to incomplete documentation. Qualifications: Proven experience in appliance or electronics repair. Technical certification or equivalent experience. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Clean police record and valid identification.
