Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Government Days in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Assist in emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures. Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and law enforcement as needed. Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
