Job Description As a Security Officer CRE Front Desk Part-Time in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting with security-related inquiries. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter potential incidents and supports a welcoming atmosphere. You will utilize your communication skills and attention to detail to manage access control and badge procedures, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements. Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency services and management. Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related tasks and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid security guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
