Client Overview:

Our client, a fast-growing fashion brand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Production Coordinator to join their team. This role is essential in supporting the production calendar, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality apparel. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr - $30/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Freelance Production Coordinator to oversee and support the end-to-end production process across multiple apparel categories. This role involves managing timelines, tracking orders, communicating with vendors, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities of the Freelance Production Coordinator:

Coordinate daily production operations from development through delivery across categories such as knits, wovens, and outerwear.
Track production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries and proactively flag potential delays.
Communicate directly with domestic and international vendors to monitor production progress and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate WIP reports, POs, and production trackers.
Support fit sessions by preparing samples and tracking comments/approvals.
Collaborate with Design, Tech, and Logistics teams to align on calendar milestones and product status.
Conduct quality checks and assist with QC processes as needed.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and vendor performance optimization.

Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Coordinator:

1 - 2 years of experience in apparel production or product development.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end production lifecycle.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PLM.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Coordinator:

Experience working with both domestic and international vendors.
Familiarity with multiple apparel categories and fit session processes.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Production is required.
