Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech/Media in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting technology, media, and telecom locations. In this primarily driving post, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible to those on site. Your role will include conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, which may include indoor and outdoor areas of a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Observe entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive activities. Document security-related incidents and report irregularities according to site protocols. Work in varying environments and conditions based on the specific needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A current guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
