Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Screen individuals, belongings, and/or luggage entering the cruise operations location to help to deter prohibited items and maintain compliance with site protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for cruise operations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the cruise operations area and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the cruise operations location. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and team members to provide information and assistance as needed. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must possess a valid TSA issued TWIC card. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
