Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Financial Site in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal serving a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the well-being of individuals on site. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols within the location. Document all incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal policies and client site requirements. Assist visitors, staff, and others at the location with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence. Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, using de-escalation techniques and prompt communication with local law enforcement if needed.

Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. A security license issued by the state, county, or city is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
