AI Strategy Lead - Pensions Solutions

AI Strategy Lead required by a leading financial services firm to drive AI adoption across their Pensions Solutions division. This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic and technical direction of AI initiatives for pension administration, member engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead strategic AI initiatives supporting pension administration, member engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Align AI solutions with business objectives, including improving admin performance, reducing operational costs, and enhancing member services.
Ensure AI systems comply with pension regulations (FCA, TPR) and data protection laws (GDPR).
Collaborate with pension admin and IT teams to integrate AI into core systems.
Translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

Proven track record delivering AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, member engagement, or compliance.
Strong understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
SQL and Excel proficiency.
Experience with cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

Experience with pension administration systems.
Knowledge of DB, DC, and hybrid occupational pension schemes.
Pensions sector background.

This is 6 month initial contract, with the likelihood of extension, paying £650-675 per day (inside IR35). The client can accommodate mostly remote working with travel to Redhill, approximately 2 days per month.
