Role: Lead Enterprise ArchitectSalary/Rate: £700-875 per day inside IR35 Location: Hybrid multiple locationsContract Duration: 12-months

We are currently looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect for our government client.

This Lead Enterprise Architect role is hybrid, based between approx. 2 days per week on site and the remainder of the week working remotely. Office locations include Salisbury or Fareham, as preferred.

The contract for the Lead Enterprise Architect position is for 12-months, with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance") + sole UK national

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Essential skills/experience required:

Hands-on experience of working as an Applications, Technical, Solution or Enterprise Architect.
Experience of working with and writing architectural strategy, policies and processes.
Experience of working within a similar governance and/or assurance role.
Experience of writing and reviewing technical design documentation.
ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board) certification
One of the following:
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification
- IT4IT Certification
- COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) Certification
Experience of operating in a similar role in wider industry; public sector or defence - desirable
Working with a strategic outsource partner in a context applicable to the offered role - desirable
Knowledge of working to defence requirements for secure computing regarding policies and best practice (JSP440, SPF, GPG etc.) and their application within a secure environment. - desirable

Role/responsibilities:

As a Digital Lead Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring design governance across the client's digital estate. You will work to influence and contribute to digital strategy and direction. You will provide corporate governance and technical advice to digital programmes, projects and services to ensure that strategy, policy and design principles are adhered to whilst considering customer requirements to provide advice and direction.

Maintain and develop design principles, policy and standards, authoring sub-strategy and related documentation.
Listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them to make decisions based on risk and complexity.
Turn business problems into technical design.
Designs systems characterised by medium levels of risk, impact and business or technical complexity.
