Job Description As a Security Guard - Media Lobby Specialist in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests and assisting employees while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and provides peace of mind for everyone on site. You will use your customer service and communication skills to address inquiries and support access control, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors. Assist with visitor management, including registration, issuing badges, and providing directions as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols. Operate security-related equipment and systems, such as CCTV monitors, access control panels, and communication devices, as required for front desk operations. Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences at the front desk location. Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and/or other personnel as needed to address inquiries or concerns. Support Allied Universal in upholding a welcoming and secure environment for all individuals entering the location.

Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
