As the largest water and wastewater provider in the UK, Thames Water serves 15 million customers throughout London and the Thames Valley. This extension will carry the current agreement through to the end of AMP8 in March 2030. MMB is delivering work on three frameworks in the region, which sees us undertake a varied programme of water and wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects to improve the network. With sites located across the Thames Valley region including; Aylesbury, Banbury, and Reading. As a Contracts Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of schemes that enhance our environment and communities - from improving flood defences, to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity. Our Contract Managers are great communicators, motivators & leaders, who have a wealth of technical knowledge, and have full ownership of the whole process from inception to handover.The role of a Contracts Manager includes:Instilling the company culture and driving consistency across a number of schemes for the organisationLeading a team of site managers to ensure successful execution of the programmeImproving awareness, compliance and performance with company standards & processes Facilitating the growth and development of the team Overall responsibility for commercial and programme delivery whilst ensuring client satisfaction What you'll need:CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTS HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience Understand civil engineering principles and practicesKnowledge of NEC3 or 4Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersA valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational regionWhat's in it for you:Alongside our significant training and development investment, bespoke progression plan and support to achieve professional chartership, we offer a wide range of financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits that you can tailor to your needs.To view our full range of benefits, please see the Bentley benefits brochure attached.JBRP1_UKTJ
