1st Line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst - Contract

Contract to end-March 2027 (circa 12 months)

Glasgow - Hybrid Working

Up to 175 per day (Inside IR35 - working via an Umbrella Company)

A well-known Public Sector organisation in Glasgow has just released a new 1st Line Support Analyst Contract role to join their team on a Contract through until the end of March 2027.

With their current Service Desk a little stretched, they're looking for someone who is available now/at short notice, who can hit the ground running & quickly fit into their team.

To be successful in this Contract, our Client are looking for candidates with the following skills & experience:

  1. Previous / recent experience in another similar 1st Line Support, IT Service Desk Analyst, IT Support or IT Helpdesk role
  2. Excellent internal Customer Service skills with strong knowledge of call logging & ticket handling
  3. Deep Microsoft knowledge - Windows 10 & specifically Active Directory for user set-ups, JML activity & password resets etc
  4. Some additional knowledge across the wider M365 suite, Desktop & Device Management tools, AV Technologies, Remote Desktops and MDM Support (InTune) would be highly advantageous
  5. Excellent problem-solving & communication skills
