Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in the United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI) industry across advertising, consultative sales and business development.

2 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • Experience in managing comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients in a fluid, constantly evolving environment.
  • Experience with C-level clients to achieve business goals and marketing objectives through the full suite of Google's marketing solutions.
  • Ability to design marketing solutions using product knowledge to drive success for our customers.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for any client.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full business cycle from prospecting to close for the new business acquisition team focusing tier 1 new business clients for Google and managing the relationship for another 6 months after closure to ensure customer satisfaction, performance and promotion opportunities.
  • Build a pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals utilising the full suite of Google's marketing solutions i.e. YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion.
  • Deliver consistently against goals, while prioritising and delivering an outstanding experience to Google's advertisers within the UK and Ireland (UKI).
