Accountants - Property Management
Location: London - Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 31st July 2026
Day Rate - Competitive (Inside IR35)
We are seeking Fully Qualified Statutory Accountants with strong experience in the property management sector to support a short-term assignment focused on year-end audit responses, balance sheet review and reconciliation, financial analysis and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead responses to specific areas of year-end audit queries
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across property-related accounts
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to validate financial data
- Process documentation, including identification of improvement areas and controls
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Managing External Audit and Internal Audit processes and stakeholders
- Proven experience within property management or real estate finance
- Advanced Excel user with ability to quickly and accurately analyse large data sets from multiple sources
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and review experience
- Hands-on knowledge of Horizon and/or Agresso (nice-to-have)
- Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a complex environment
- Works well under pressure
- Forensic approach to investigating
- Attention to detail
- General ledger Accounting (nice-to-have)
- VAT experience (nice-to-have)
