Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

Whitstable 15.00 per hour Part-Time Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team in Whitstable on an ongoing temporary basis. This assignment is expected to last 2-3 months initially, with the potential to be extended.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who is looking for flexible, part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and supplier invoices
• Matching payments and maintaining accurate records
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• General accounts administration
• Using QuickBooks to support daily finance activities
• Providing support to the finance team during a period of temporary cover

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Good working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential
• Experience processing invoices and reconciling accounts
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to start immediately

Hours

• 15-20 hours per week
• Approximately 4 x 4-hour days (with the potential to increase to 5 x 4-hour days depending on business needs)
• Flexible working pattern

Pay

• 15.00 per hour
