We are a growing business with a strong reputation for reliability and service, and we are now looking to strengthen our internal finance function as we scale.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).
This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time working hours, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business. As Apricus Resourcing continues to expand, there is clear potential for this position to develop into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with weekly payroll coordination (including liaison with umbrella companies)
- Raising and issuing client invoices
- Credit control and monitoring aged debt
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Assisting with general administrative and finance tasks as required
- Maintaining VAT Records
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred)
- Familiarity with accounting software Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Confident communication skills
