Accounts Receivable Purchasing Technician

Job Description Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Purchasing Technician plays a key role in keeping a company's finances organized. This position ensures money flows in and out smoothly by managing accounts receivable, handling cash, assisting with purchasing, and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks and the Escape Accounting System. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Manage incoming payments and ensure accurate cash handling
  • Assist with purchasing and verify requisitions
  • Use QuickBooks and Escape Accounting System to keep everything organized
  • Support budgeting and financial reporting
What We're Looking For Must-Have:
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Skilled in Cash Handling and Purchasing Functions
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Escape Accounting System
Preferred:
  • Strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills
  • Bookkeeping/accounting knowledge
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $30.26 to $35.00 per hour
