AI Delivery Director - (Contract - 6 months)

Overview

An experienced, hands-on AI Delivery Specialist is required to execute and deliver priority AI & Automation initiatives within an Enterprise line of business. This role focuses on implementing functional AI solutions-such as co-pilots and agents-primarily within Salesforce, to drive business value and operational efficiency.

The role operates as an Embedded delivery lead within established AI strategy frameworks, owning day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams. It ensures initiatives progress from design through build, deployment, and adoption.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience delivering initiatives across commercial functions, with demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and translating complex business requirements into actionable AI initiatives and end-to-end delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery:
Own hands-on execution and delivery of AI and automation projects (eg, co-pilots, agents), progressing defined use cases through build, test, deployment, and adoption. Focus on delivery and integration across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with business, product, technology, and compliance teams to unblock delivery, resolve dependencies, and maintain momentum across initiatives.

Requirements Translation:
Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into functional AI solutions for defined use cases, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution.

Solution Design & Implementation:
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven tools, ensuring scalability, security, and user adoption.

Change Management:
Support adoption of new AI solutions through effective communication, training, and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with AI and automation policies and guidelines.

Best Practices & Innovation:
Apply AI best practices and insights to initiatives, helping to build a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

Initiative Delivery:
Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end successful AI initiatives, ideally within enterprise commercial environments. Experience with generative AI, co-pilot models, and conversational agents at scale is preferred.

Salesforce Expertise:
Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms and ecosystems, with hands-on experience implementing AI solutions within Salesforce. Experience with Agentforce is highly desirable.

Stakeholder Management:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions.

Technical Acumen:
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables; familiarity with AI agent frameworks and automation tools. Strong hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating production-grade code (including machine learning experience). This role requires a technically capable practitioner who can execute, not just advise.

Business Analysis:
Comfortable performing hands-on business analysis, including authoring clear, detailed functional and technical requirements. Direct ownership of requirements from problem definition through to build and delivery is expected.

Contract Experience:
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced contract environment with a focus on delivering results within defined timeframes.

AI Governance:
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments.

Additional Experience:
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS implementation and change management.

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: City of London (minimum 3 days per week onsite)
