In Advanced Analytics, you will work as part of a dynamic and high-reaching team, and be a driving force behind digital transformation in Bank of Ireland.
You will gain significant exposure to develop complex, leading data science solutions end to end, demonstrating applied statistics and supervised/unsupervised machine learning techniques, on both structured and unstructured datasets, to extract value from numerous, disparate, sophisticated data sources, working to address foundational business problems for our customers.

In this role, you will:Demonstrated ability in data analytics, including experience with multiple machine learning techniques / models (Tree based Models, Supervised Models, Ensembles, Unsupervised learning techniques).
You have a genuine interest in using data to solve real business problems. You are comfortable working with a range of machine learning techniques and enjoy turning complex information into meaningful insights that others can understand and act on.
You are confident using programming tools such as Python and SQL, and have experience working with large datasets and modern analytics platforms. You have experience in MLOps, model monitoring and explainability. You communicate clearly, work well with others and are comfortable sharing your perspective with partners at different levels.
You are organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage deadlines and balance priorities in a fast moving environment.

More about the teamReporting to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO), the Advanced Analytics team is responsible for the development and execution of the Bank's data analytics strategy.
The role holder will deliver value-prioritised analytics & AI projects that are closely aligned to the Groups strategic ambition on behalf of internal customers; and contribute to identifying appropriate framework tools and standards to enable Bank of Ireland to become a data driven organisation at all levels of the company.
The role is hybrid and can be performed anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location in Baggot Plaza. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration with exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
