Job Title: AI Engineer Generative AI / AWS Bedrock Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (EST required and Client Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406)
Duration: 6 12 Month Contract-to-Hire Opportunity with the potential for full-time conversion
Rate: $Market/Hour
They would ideally like to convert the candidate to full-time eventually, but they are still open to considering strong H1B candidates as well.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock. The ideal candidate will have 3 4 years of practical experience designing, developing, and deploying GenAI applications leveraging foundation models, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and AI-powered workflows in AWS environments.
This role requires real-world implementation experience with AWS Bedrock not just theoretical exposure. Candidates should be able to demonstrate production-level work involving Bedrock services, model integration, orchestration, and scalable AI application development.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intelligent automation solutions, conversational AI systems, enterprise copilots, document intelligence platforms, and AI-driven business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock
Integrate foundation models and LLMs into enterprise applications
Build scalable AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and intelligent assistants
Implement prompt engineering and model optimization strategies
Develop APIs and backend services for AI-driven applications
Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search solutions
Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and data engineering teams
Deploy and monitor AI solutions in AWS environments
Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization for GenAI systems
Required Skills:
3 4 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI engineering
Strong real-world experience with AWS Bedrock (mandatory)
Experience integrating LLMs and foundation models
Python programming expertise
Experience with LangChain, RAG architecture, embeddings, and vector databases
Strong AWS cloud experience
REST API and microservices development experience
Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI orchestration frameworks
Experience with scalable cloud-native architecture
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Amazon Titan, Claude, Llama, or other Bedrock-supported models
Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI practices
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to MLOps workflows
