AI OPTIMIZATION & AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

ABOUT GENTLEMEN'S CUT Gentlemen's Cut is a locally owned men's salon and spa serving the Louisville community. We are seeking a resourceful, hands-on AI Optimization & Automation Specialist to help us use artificial intelligence more effectively across our marketing, guest experience, operations, and management processes. This is a practical implementation role. We are looking for someone who can evaluate how we currently work, identify opportunities for improvement, and build AI-powered systems that save time, improve consistency, and support business growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Review our current workflows and identify opportunities to use AI and automation - Improve internal processes, including reporting, scheduling communications, employee reminders, training resources, and documentation - Develop reusable prompts, templates, custom assistants, and standard operating procedures - Explore integrations involving ChatGPT, Google Workspace, Phorest, and other business platforms - Automate repetitive administrative and data-entry tasks where appropriate - Organize business information so management and team members can access it efficiently IDEAL CANDIDATE You are curious, organized, solutions-oriented, and able to translate new technology into simple tools. You understand that successful AI implementation is not just about generating content-it is about improving workflows, accuracy, efficiency, and measurable business results. QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated experience using AI tools in a professional or small-business environment - Experience with ChatGPT and workflow-automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or similar tools - Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Excel and Calendar - Ability to evaluate a workflow and recommend practical improvements - Strong written communication, organization, and problem-solving skills - Ability to document processes - Sound judgment when handling confidential business, guest, and employee information - Ability to work independently and complete projects from planning through implementation PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Familiarity with CRM platforms - Experience with digital marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO, or reputation management - Experience creating dashboards, reports, integrations, or automated workflows - Familiarity with AI privacy, data security, and responsible-use practices INITIAL PROJECT PRIORITIES The selected candidate may begin by: - Auditing our current AI use and administrative workflows - Developing a prioritized AI optimization plan - Creating a centralized library of approved prompts, templates, and procedures - Improving marketing-content creation and campaign planning - Identifying automation opportunities involving Phorest and Google Workspace - Establishing measurable goals, such as hours saved and faster response times HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED - Reduction in time spent on repetitive administrative work - Clear, organized documentation for every implemented workflow - Measurable improvements in productivity TO APPLY Please submit your resume or professional background along with: 1.
