We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to support the delivery of high quality mobile applications for a major consulting client.

The role is initially 3 months, with potential to extend through to March 2027. Candidates will ideally be based in Scotland, with travel to Glasgow required once per week. Non local candidates may be considered, but local candidates will be prioritised.

Key skills required:

Strong commercial Kotlin and or Java experience
Experience building Android applications using MVVM architecture
Jetpack Compose experience
Android Studio experience
Android Jetpack libraries experience, including LiveData and Navigation Component
Coroutines experience for asynchronous programming
REST API integration experience, ideally using Retrofit
Git version control
Gradle experience
Google Play release process knowledge
Agile Scrum delivery experience

The role will involve developing and maintaining Android application features, working closely with designers, testers, analysts and wider technical teams. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable Kotlin code, contribute to technical discussions and support continuous improvement across mobile delivery.

BPSS checks will be required before starting.
