Overall Objective
- Evaluates flavoring products and incoming ingredients by performing sensory evaluations or chemical, physical, microbiological or analytical tests.
- Adheres to safety rules and procedures.
- Performs tasks and procedures according to established GLPs, processes and policies.
Functional Alignment
- Supports operations departments and affiliate sites by performing laboratory testing efficiently and on time.
- Key stakeholders: Laboratory management team, Operations, Planning
Education / Background / Technical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required, scientific college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of laboratory and/or industry experience preferred
- Must not have food allergies
- Must possess strong written and verbal English skills and be able to read and understand technical documentation
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Sharepoint

Required Activities
- Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours at a time, and up to 7 hours total per day.
- Must have hand dexterity for pipetting and twisting/opening of containers.
- Must be able to bend, crouch down, and reach.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to sit at a computer for up to 2 hours at a time.
- Must be able to work in warm conditions.
- Must follow all safety precautions to handle hazardous chemicals.
- Must be able to lift to 10 lbs.
