Audio Visual Technician

Wembley (Local Authority) Full-Time Monday-Friday Office-Based Immediate Start

Pay Rates:

• £18.55 per hour (PAYE)
• £24.43 per hour (Umbrella)

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Audio Visual Technician to join a busy local authority team based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV professional who enjoys a varied role and delivering high-quality technical support in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment across a range of venues and events
• Support sound, video, lighting, and networking requirements
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Provide on-site support for meetings, conferences, and events
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard
• Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours work as required
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and manual handling

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine passion for audio-visual technologies
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible "can-do" attitude
• Be a strong problem solver with attention to detail
• Have experience in at least one core AV area:
  • Sound
  • Video
  • Lighting
  • Networking
• Ideally have experience within an in-house venue or AV supplier environment
• Be confident working in a client-facing role
• Be physically capable of heavy lifting and working at heights
