Job Title: Boomi Integration Architect
Location: London or Birmingham (hybrid)
Salary/Rate: £400 a day outside IR35
Start Date: 24th August 2026
Job Type: Initial 12-month contract

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Boomi Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise integration solutions.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for the creation, design, development, and implementation of their in-house RPA systems. You will also have to investigate, analyse, and set up automated processes to maximise efficiency for a business model. This is done with the help of RPA technologies and tools.")

• Design and implement enterprise-wide integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere.
• Define integration architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and governance processes.
• Lead API strategy, life cycle management, and integration best practices.
• Architect Real Time, batch, file-based, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for integration developers.
• Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Drive CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence across integration platforms.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise modernization programs.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere.
• Expertise in API Management, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, data mapping, and transformation.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and Middleware technologies.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS platforms (eg, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of security standards including OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and encryption practices.

Professional Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to present architectural solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading integration teams and managing complex enterprise projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

Boomi Professional Architect Certification.
