We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Bury - ATM - Children with Disability Team, offering a competitive rate of £40 per hour (umbrella). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments, interventions, and support, ensuring that the needs of vulnerable children are met effectively and compassionately.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
  • Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and making adjustments as needed.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote the best outcomes for children and young people.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
