The Role
We are seeking a Technical/Business Analyst to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within Enterprise Cybersecurity. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, focusing on requirements analysis, process optimization, and supporting delivery of IAM capabilities. The analyst will collaborate with product owners, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure IAM solutions meet security, compliance, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct detailed process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments for IAM initiatives, including migration from Legacy systems.
  • Support integration of IAM tools and technologies (eg, Active Directory, MFA, SSO, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk) into enterprise workflows.
  • Document current and future state architectures, data flows, and system interactions using diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Assist in defining IAM policies and controls, including provisioning, access reviews, and role-based access models.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to ensure timely delivery of IAM features and enhancements, leveraging Scrum and Agile practices.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve IAM processes and user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for reference by engineering and business teams.
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in technical/business analysis within software delivery or cybersecurity domains.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies (authentication, authorization, identity federation, secrets management).
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, process modelling, and translating business needs into technical deliverables.
  • Familiarity with modern application development practices and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools (eg, Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CIAM, IIBA (CBAP, CCBA), CSPO, or cybersecurity-related credentials.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
